What are "B-Grade" pins?

In pin production (and most other manufacturing) it's unfortunately impossible to maintain a 100% quality rate.

We only ship the highest quality pins ("A-Grades"), so that means that we're left with some pins that have very minor defects but are otherwise perfectly good, which we call "B-Grades."

We've decided to offer these B-Grade pins at a heavy discount off to allow people to save money.

The defects are usually a tiny scratch, blemish, or speck of dust caught in the enamel. Rest assured that even with B-Grade pins, we'll never ship you something with a major defect that we wouldn't wear ourselves. 

Where can I buy Kolorspun merchandise offline?

Kolorspun merch tables pop up at various events in Richmond, VA. We also vend at conventions and music festivals across the East Coast. 

Do you offer wholesale packages?

We do! We’d be happy to put together a wholesale order for you if you email matt@kolorspun.com.


How do you secure credit card information?

We never even see it. Our orders are handled by PayPal and Shopify, the industry standards in online payment. Your order is protected by their billion dollar security systems, so rest easy.

Do I need a PayPal account?

Nope. We accept credit cards at checkout through Shopify, though you're always welcome to checkout using your PayPal account or PayPal Guest.

What's your return/exchange policy?

We accept returns of new merchandise within 30 days of delivery. Returns are completely free. Email matt@kolorspun.com to begin the return process. If your merchandise is damaged, please contact us and we will send you a new one right away.

If you haven't received your domestic order within one week of shipping, please email us at matt@kolorspun.com so that we can begin an investigation. International orders may take 7-28 days to arrive depending on the destination country's customs policies.

An item I purchased last week has gone on sale, but I paid full price.

No problem! We understand how annoying that can be, so just shoot us an email at matt@kolorspun.com and we’ll issue a partial refund to match the sale price.


When can I expect my order?

Orders ship within 24 hours. You'll receive an email from us as soon as your item ships with a tracking number so that you can keep an eye on your order every step of the way.

Do you ship outside the US?

Yes, we ship worldwide for $7.99. 

When can I expect my international order?

International orders are mailed out as quickly as domestic ones and leave the country within 3 days, but may take longer to be delivered. This is because the customs procedures and package volumes in each country differ significantly. In the past, international orders have taken anywhere between 5-28 days to arrive after ordering. 

How will my items be packaged?

We bubble wrap each individual pin (in what is probably too much bubble wrap) to make sure that it is as protected as possible. Each wrapped item is then placed within a black waterproof bubble mailer. We use thermal printed shipping labels on each package, so your tracking info updates faster and there’s no risk of mislabeling or misreading your address.


Do I need an account?

Nope. You don’t need a PayPal account, either.
